to the website of Gulandot, a Berlin-based tiny publisher specializing in scholarly literature about the Turkic-speaking world.

We offer contributions to the literatures, history, politics and culture of the Turkic peoples. Up to now, our program has been focusing on Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and the Uyghurs.

Our aims

The Berlin-based minuscule publishing house Gulandot wants to work towards improving the relations between the Western and the Turkic-speaking world by means of promoting and enhancing the knowledge of Turkic literatures, languages, history, and other aspects of social sciences.

Most of our publications are scholarly contributions, but our program also includes translations and essays.
